MS Baskar is a legendary actor, theatre artist and dubbing artist in Tamil cinema. He made his big screen debut back in 1987 and rose to fame through small roles and his dubbing works. He became a regular cast and widely recognized supporting and comedy actor in Tamil cinema in the 2000s.

Now, the latest is that Mr MS Baskar was honoured with the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD for his exemplary contribution to the film industry by Dr MGR University, Maduravoyal's Viscom & Animation department. The educational institute recently celebrated its annual Cultural Fest Ammara 5.0. The veteran was felicitated in this event.

Dr MGR University, President ACS Arun Kumar and Director Perarasu graced the occasion with students and staff of the Viscom & Animation department. The two honoured MS Baskar with the award and the pictures of the same surfaced over the internet and are doing rounds.
