Leonardo DiCaprio turns real life hero again - helps save drowning man

Leonardo DiCaprio needs no introduction as he enjoys the superstar status all over the world after his career-defining role as Jack in 'Titanic' directed by James Cameron.  The talented star actor is also a champion crusader for the fight against climate change environment preservation contributing millions of dollars for the causes.

On December 31st 45-year-old DiCaprio along with his 22-year-old girlfriend, Camilla Morrone was on a cruise in the Caribbean when his help was sought to save a man who had fallen off a ship and was struggling to survive in the water for eleven years.  The incident happened off the coast of St.Barts and the Hollywood great's luxury yacht was the only one in the area.  Leo once again proved that he is a real-life hero and joined in the rescue mission and made sure the survivor made it before welcoming the New Year.

Professionally, Leonardo DiCaprio is on a high after the critical and commercial success of 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood' directed by Quentin Tarantino and costarring Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Al Pacino.  He is all set to reunite with Martin Scorcese for the serial killer drama 'Flower Moon' also starring Robert De Niro.
