This is a must watch film for those who are planning to end their life. Live your life full and for the deep neck problems suicide is not the answer. `Lift Kodla' is focusing this issue at a time when a Kannada film and television actor and his wife (Indudhar and Hema) committed suicide a day before the release of this film.

Ashok Cashyap and his team made this movie in an interesting style with philosophy, comedy, good cinematography and equally good acting. The one short of dozen in the bus with variety of problems in life reaching the hill spot Kodachadri, to end the life is an eye opener for majority of the people.

Krishna (Jaggesh) with a film producer Ring Road Gowda, chit fund owner, aged couple thrown out by their children, dowry affected woman, youngster defeated in studies, a dejected lover, lovers affected with religion coming in their way plus an innocent dog Ruby are traveling in the bus to end their life. On the way in their six hours journey each one in the bus realizes that suicide is not the answer for every problem. When Krishna expresses his tragedy the inmates in the bus further realize they should not end their life. But accident is averted narrowly when the bus loses the break. Krishna left alone in the bus that falls from a height miraculously escapes in life.

Jaggesh and Komalkumar the siblings very popular on Kannada screen combination has given comedy and advice portions very convincingly. Both are good at dialogue delivery. At places Komalkumar for his histrionics over shadows his brother Jaggesh. The selection of characters inside the bus is apt. The talkative Raju Thalikote's diction is very interesting. Sadhu Kokila who comes in the middle conversing with everyone in the bus that suicide is a sick idea and a sin, later dies in the road accident shows the other face of the fate.

`Ondhu Maathu Kelu Ondhu Varusha Kadhenaa.' is the melodious song of this film. Cinematography, capturing the lovely forest of Karnataka from the top angle showcases the rich forestry of the state. The bus losing the break and escape of the inmates is dangerously captured.

Worth watching although inspired from Telugu film `Mee Shreyobilashi'.
