N. Lingusamy one of the most successful commercial directors in Tamil cinema recently helmed the Tamil/Telugu bilingual 'The Warriorr' starring Ram Pothineni and Krithi Shetty.  He owns the Tirupathi Brothers production house which has produced several hit films and also distributed cult classics.

The production house ran into financial troubles due to various issues and faced cases in the court.  One of the cases filed by popular Telugu production house PVP Cinema came up for final hearing today at the Saidapet Court in Chennai.  The judge has sentenced Lingusamy and his brother Subash Chandrabose to six months imprisonment in connection with the check bounce case.

It is said that the talented director had borrowed money a few years back from PVP to produce a movie titled 'Yenni Ezhu Naalukulla' starring Karthi and Samantha which never took off.  The company took legal action due to non repayment of the loan amount and the cheque that the brothers issued returned without funds from the bank.  Sources say that Lingusamy and his brother have decided to go for an appeal and have started the formalities.
