Lingusamy makes a mark

Lingusamy is feeling special as he has successfully completed a decade in the tinsel town. It was exactly 10 years ago his debut directorial venture ÂAnandam hit the screens.
The director, who is a producer too, is currently busy with ÂVettaiÂ, which he says a film that would cater to all sections of the audience.
ÂThe script is shaped up in such a way, he says. While the Tamil version will have Arya and Madhavan as protagonists, the Telugu version of ÂVettai will have Mahesh Babu and Madhavan in the lead. ÂIt will be fast-paced, full of action and of course with my stamp, the director claims.
Happy about completing 10 years in Tamil cinema, Lingusamy says, ÂI have learnt a lot during these years. A director should have evolved sensibilities. He should love action and at the same he should also be a great admirer of poetry.Â
On the production front, LingusamyÂs Tirupathi Brothers banner is currently making three movies, all directed by promising filmmakers- Balaji Sakthivel, Mysskin and Prabhu Solomon. ÂI love to direct and produce movies, Lingusamy says.
