'Loham' is not about gold smuggling

'Loham' starring Mohanlal in the lead and directed by Ranjith is gearing up for an Onam release. It was widely reported that 'Loham' is based on gold smuggling from the gulf to Kerala. Though it is true thematically, the makers have gone all out to project a theme which says that 'Loham' is not about gold smuggling, but about smuggling out deception.

There were talk in some quarters about if Mohanlal was associating with a project which would see him as a glorified smuggler. However, with that being laid to rest and Mohanlal projected to be part of the good guys, things are well. The actor plays a driver. Andrea Jeremiah plays the leading lady in the movie.
