Analysis:

Ashish Reddy performed his role sincerely. He showed good emotions and expressions and came up with good body language. He however sported only serious look and though this may be apt for his role, youngsters who aspire to look him as a lover boy could be disappointed.

Vaishnavi Chaitanya looked good on screen and she made her presence felt. However her role is not as powerful as the one she did in Baby and her fans will be completely disappointed. Simran Chaudhary is good as Divyavathi but her role ended up confusing viewers.

Rajeev Kanakala appeared only in one scene while Ravi Krishna is ok in the role of the friend character.

Arun Bhimavarapu with Love Me If You Dare tried to entertain and thrill viewers coming up with a new concept of protagonist falling in love. Though the idea looked good and interesting to hear, he failed right from the start. He started the narration with the flashback and from then on he ended up not only confusing himself but also the viewers.

He failed to come up with strong characters and he lacked clarity of thought while penning down the character arcs. So the protagonist falling in love for a ghost though looked exciting, didnot look convincing. Similarly Vaishnavi Chaitanya's character and Simran Chaudhary's character defied logics and many times, the mere appearance of them on the screen ended up confusing the viewers so much so that they are forced to look at the exit doors. The first half is saved due to cinematography and while one expected a better second half, it ended up in giving more misery with more confusing, illogical and convoluted scenes. The music of Keeravani turned out to be a complete disappointment. Though the songs are situational, they failed to make an impression. Keeravani tried to elevate the scenes with his background music. To some extent he succeed initially but later even the BGM lost the steam. Both the BGM and songs tested the patience of the viewers.

PC.Sreeram's cinematography turned out to be the saving grace. He showed the horror elements with his camera angles creating the impact with the dark angles. Editing of Kami Reddy and Santosh Naidu failed miserably. While the first half itself turned out to be disappointing due to lags, the second half pace slowed down so much due to drags that it seemed the film would never end. Production values are good.

Verdict:

Love Me If You Dare for all the creative thoughts of director Arun Bhimavarapu failed completely despite best efforts from Ashish, Vaishnavi and Simran as creativity took centrestage rather than conformity.
