Mahendra Singh Dhoni lovingly addressed as Thala Dhoni by Tamil fans made the surprise announcement that he is retiring from international cricket on August 15th shocking millions. Soon after that his longtime teammate and CSK deputy Suresh Raina also announced that he is following suit.

Netizens who are pouring in their tributes have even gone to the extent of equating that number 7 Dhoni and number 3 Raina have called it quits on the 73rd Independence Day of India.

The Chennai Super Kings has posted an emotional video of Dhoni and Raina meeting in the dressing room and giving each other a loving hug showing solidarity forever for each other.

Even though we wont be seeing the Thala and Chinna Thala of cricket in blue jerseys they will be turning up in yellove for CSK in the upcoming IPL 2020 that begins in the UAE on 19th Septemeber and will go on till the finals on November 10th.
