Tovino Thomas who has acquired his space in Mollywood through his scintillating performances in movies like Mayanadhi, Godha, Oru Mexican Aparatha and Ennu Ninte Moideen.Now he is triggering to make an entry in Tamil industry with Dhanush’s Maari 2.

Tovino plays the antagonist in the movie. The role demanded an intense actor and that’s how they signed Tovino Thomas.

Maari 2 also stars Sai Pallavi, who will star opposite Dhanush. Varalaxmi is supposedly playing a role with negative shade in the film.

Meanwhile Director Madhupal's next film 'Oru Kuprasidha Payyan's' released its first look poster, in which Tovino is playing a rustic character. The movie is a murder mystery and investigation.
