Jeevan-Kamna Jethmalani starrer 'Machaakkaran' has many surprises and is gearing up for Deepavali release.

Interestingly, noted director G M Kumar dons the grease paint to play the role of Kamna Jethmalani’s father, while co-director Anjali Kunjudevan plays the second villain.

There are more to ‘Machaakkaran’ than directors appearing before the camera. The unit went for a non stop shooting schedule for 30 days in Thindukal, Theni, Kodaikanal, Palani, and Allinagaram. The hard work has enabled them to release the movie in time.

The unit has erected a statue of Ayyanar at the cost of 3 lakh for an important scene. The Ayyanar, looking majestically, has been gifted to the people of Allinagaram after the shooting. A reservoir set was also created at a cost of Rs.30 lakhs.

The lead pair looks hot and vibrant in the songs. Going by the stills, Kamna, who makes a come back to Tamil after her first venture ‘Idhaya Thirudan’, hasn’t hesitated to showcase her beauty. Jeevan is indeed Machaakkaran this time!

Director Tamizh Vannan has made every possible attempt to ensure a mass entertainer.

Apart from a different storyline and stylish execution, he has also roped in eleven comedians, including Vayapuri, Mayilsamy and Santhanam to create a laugh riot.

Jeevan too has tried his hand in comedy, while Kamna has provided the much needed glamour quotient.

Get ready for a surefire entertainer!
