Actor Madhavan was last seen on screen playing the lead in the blockbuster Vikram Vedha released before 4 years and the actor was seen in a cameo in Magalir Mattum after that. Madhavan had since then been working on his debut direction venture Rocketry.

Madhavan had also completed a movie Maara, the Tamil remake of the acclaimed Malayalam hit Charlie which had Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy Thiruvothu in lead roles and was directed by Martin Prakkat.

The latest update on Maara is that reportedly the producers Pramod films have stuck a deal with Amazon prime, and the movie will soon have a direct OTT release on the platform, and an official announcement is expected soon. Maara is directed by debutant Dilip Kumar and also stars Shraddha Srinath, Sshivada.
