'Roja' pair Madhoo and Arvind Swamy reunite

Close to three decades ago in 1992 Mani Ratnam's 'Roja' released and became a pan Indian blockbuster hit. The film catapulted the lead pair Madhoo and Arvind Swamy into instant stardom and the duo went on to carve their own niches and have enjoyed huge success in their respective careers.

Madhoo and Arvind Swamy are reuniting this year in the Jayalalitha biopic 'Thalaivi' directed by Vijay and starring Kangana Ranaut in the title role. It has already been revealed that Arvind Swamy will be playing the legendary MGR in the film and though Madhoo's character is not known yet sources in the know suggest that she will be paying the former Chief Minister's wife V.N. Janaki.
