It was earlier reported that all was not well between Udaya Bhanu and her producers when she was mysteriously absent from the audio launch event. The producer and the director arranged a pressmeet specifically to thrash the rumors. However, it was exposed yesterday when the actress resorted to registering a complaint at the CCS against the producers saying that her pics were morphed vulgarly and posted in a website.

The DCP, CCS, along with Movie Artistes Association, senior producer Tammareddy Bharadwaja along with the actress, producer and director of the film ‘Madhumathi’ have seen a preview of the film and concluded that there was no obscenity or morphing of her images for a sleazy effect.

While the DCP said that she wanted to see the film before release and that’s why the screening, the actress said that she was denied a preview before the release and hence she had to resort to the Police. She said she didn’t file a case against anyone.

The producer and director cried foul on her behavior saying that she is harassing them before the release. When they wanted to screen the movie she was out of country and they were ready to throw a preview whenever she was ready. They asked how would they be responsible if a website morphed her pics.

‘I Was Not Informed Of The Audio Or Movie Release’: Udaya Bhanu

Amidst all the storm, the movie has released on Thursday the 13th December. While the trade reports are still awaited, the actress promptly arranged for a pressmeet and alleged that she was completely isolated from the movie’s proceedings even from the last schedules of shooting.

She burst out in today’s pressmeet saying ‘I am a woman and there are TV channels and websites accusing me of taking the entire money and ceased to participate in the promotion of the film. The fact is, I was not paid fully, nor was I informed about the audio launch nor the release of the movie today. In spite of my efforts to add to the quality of the film, song choreography, the makers were adamant and went ahead shooting the song even without me.

When I saw the song while dubbing my voice, I was shocked with disgust to see a song filled with sleaze and lewd photographs. And then it started to pour in… the morphed pics of mine in websites one after another. When I demanded to watch the film, they wouldn’t arrange for a preview. That’s the reason why I had to resort to the police. I also thank the God of the industry Dasari Sir for helping me out in the turmoil’
