A success meet of 'Maharshi' was held on Sunday in Hyderabad.  Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Babu said that he is happy that the meet was happening on Mother's Day.  "To me, my mother is like God.  Every time before the release of my movie, I go to her place and have a cup of coffee, which is like 'prasadam'," the Superstar said.

"Vamshi (Paidipally) has spoken so emotionally about 'Maharshi'.  This success is very special to me.  Devi Sri Prasad is a true rock star.  Without him, there wouldn't be songs like 'Padara Padara', which are integral to the story.  Even when I heard the story of 'Maharshi', I knew that it would turn out to be a classic.  When the final copy was ready, Dil Raju described the film as a sixer.  It reminded me of Dhoni's sixer during the finals of World Cup 2011," Mahesh said.

"When Ashwini Dutt garu is too happy with me, he calls me Mahesh.  He told me I am something after watching the movie," Mahesh said.

Mahesh thanked the audience for making the film "the biggest hit in his career".  "Maharshi is going to become the biggest earner in my career in 7 days of release," he said, raising his shirt's collar while closing the speech.
