'Maharshi' story secretly copied: Report

Maharshi story secretly copied: Report

A report published in an English-language daily says that the basic premise of 'Maharshi' is not original. It was copied from an existing story written by director Sriwass of 'Dictator' fame.

As per the report, Sriwass many years ago wrote a story whose premise is very much similar to that of the Mahesh Babu movie. He was shocked on watching 'Maharshi' and decided to approach producer Dil Raju.

The news report says that Raju and Sriwass have come to an informal agreement. There won't be any legal fight. Instead, a compromise has been reached between the two.

Meanwhile, the Vamshi Paidipally-directed 'Maharshi' did well at the box-office on Day 2 (Friday).
