As we have reported earlier veteran director J.Mahendran is acting in an important role in 'Vijay 59' directed by Atlee. Not it has became clear that the 'Uthiripookkal' director is playing the lead baddie role in the film and there are scenes of fiery exchanges between him and the lead hero Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the film. .

Though Mahendran is not facing the camera for the first time, he has never donned negative characters. However the veteran seems to have left everyone in the 'Vijay 59' crew awestruck with the way he performs in front of camera.

Insiders of 'Vijay 59' reveal that the combination scenes between Vijay and Mahendran would be one of the highlights of the film. They also express hope that Mahendran may bag awards to be given next year for the Best Villain role.

The yet to be titled 59th film of Vijay stars Amy Jackson and Samantha as lead heroines while Prabhu, Radhika, Naan Kadavul Rajendran and many others form part of the supporting cast. Music is being rendered by G.V.Prakash. The film is bankrolled by Kalaipuli.S.Thanu.

The first look poster and title of 'Vijay 59' can be xepcted to be unveiled on Deepavali festival day.
