There have been rumours that director Parasuram Petla has had fresh thinking over who should be the heroine of 'Sakaru Vaari Paata'. Putting all speculations to rest on Saturday, Superstar Mahesh Babu said that the heroine is Keerthy Suresh.

The 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor made the announcement while wishing the 'Mahanati' actress, who celebrates her birthday today. "Here’s wishing the super talented Keerthy Suresh a very happy birthday!! Team #SarkaruVaariPaata welcomes you aboard!! Will make sure it’s one of your most memorable films. Have a great one!!" Mahesh said, much to Keerthy's glee.

Unable to conceal her excitement, the 'Penguin' actress said, "Thank you so much Mahesh Babu sir. Delighted to be working with you for the first time and really looking forward to this!"

The film, to be produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and Mahesh's production house, has music by SS Thaman. Its shooting schedules are yet to be made official.
