Mahesh Babu is not just into playing with kids and stuff during the ongoing lockdown. The superstar, true to his style, is also curling up with books. This week's pick from the 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' actor is 'Sapiens', the 2011 best-seller that tells a "brief history of humankind".

"It is an exciting, educative and eye-opening book!! All in all a phenomenal read," the talented actor writes.

Authored by Yuval Noah Harari, the book "surveys the history of humankind from the evolution of archaic human species in the Stone Age up to the twenty-first century, focusing on Homo sapiens. The account is situated within a framework provided by the natural sciences, particularly evolutionary biology," as per Wikipedia.

Earlier this week, Mahesh expressed his gratefulness for healthcare workers and policemen, followed by an acknowledgement of his thanks by the DGP and IG of Telangana.
