Contrary to the rumours that Mahesh Babu has dubbed himself for the Tamil version of 'Srimanthudu', 'Selvandhan', the Superstar said that he couldn't dub as he has been busy with the promotions of the film.

About the concept, Mahesh says that it is unique and the emotions are genuine. He added that he could relate to the character Harsha very much and is very excited to see how the audiences will receive the film. Shruti Haasan plays Charuseela in the film. This is Koratala Siva's second directorial venture after the super hit entertainer 'Mirchi'. Devi Sri Prasad's songs are well received and topped the charts. Mahesh also turned producer with this film. He co-produced it under MB Entertainment Pvt.Ltd banner along with Mythri Movie Makers.
