Mahesh Babu on Sunday left to Dehradun, Uttarakhand, to shoot for his 25th film, to be directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film, jointly produced by Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt, will be shot from Monday. It was supposed to go on the floors in April.

"Superstar @urstrulyMahesh left to Dehradun today. Will join shoot of #SSMB25 from tomorrow," a statement from the star's social media team says. The film will see Pooja Hegde romancing the charming actor.

The 'Bharat Ane Nenu' star recently stopped by in Mumbai while returning to India from a holiday in Europe and this prompted a Mumbai-based media house to claim that he was there to be in talks with a Bollywood producer for a Hindi-language project. As Namrata Shirodkar herself later clarified, her hubby was there to meet with Hakim Aalim, the celebrity stylist, ahead of the shoot of Paidipally's movie. The superstar presumably took some tips from Hakim regarding his trendy look.
