As per the latest buzz, a story meant for Mahesh Babu may just have gone to Yash, the hero of the 2018 blockbuster 'KGF'. We are talking about Puri Jagannadh and his script 'Jana Gana Mana'.

This script was meant to be made with Mahesh Babu as the hero in 2016. But the 'Maharshi' actor didn't show interest in it and Puri became busy with other projects.

With 'iSmart Shankar' becoming a huge blockbuster, the director is back in the reckoning. He is believed to have narrated 'Jana Gana Mana' in brief to Yash, who is yet to take a final call on whether to work with Puri or not.

As of now, Yash is still busy shooting for 'KGF-2', directed by Prashanth Neel. This one will release in April next year.
