Recently, director Mysskin had been in news, after an upcoming actor Maithreyan, who happens to be the son of financier Raghunandan, had accused Mysskin of promising to make a movie with him and getting advance, ultimately to make the same movie as Psycho, with Udhayanidhi Stalin and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles.

Even as a case has been filed demanding a ban on the shoot of Psycho, that also stars director Ram, Nithya Menen in pivotal roles, Maithreyan, who had claimed he had undergone difficult training for preparation for his role in Psycho, has now bagged another interesting project with an established maker.

Reports suggest that Maithreyan has been roped in to play the lead role in a movie directed by GNR Kumaravelan, who had previously directed movies Ninaithale Inikkum, Yuvan Yuvathi, and Haridas. This movie will reportedly have Maithreyan playing a visually challenged guy and the actor has started training to play a blind man. Maithreyan also added that he will not stop until legal action is taken against Mysskin.
