#justiceforjisha : A country awakens

In what is considered to be the most unfortunate event ever to happen in God`s own country, the country moans for the loss of Jisha who was brutally raped to death. The waves of terror is in the air as another Nirbhaya` questions the safety of women in the country and the primitive laws that stands impotent to prevent the evils that pose threat to humanity.

Wide protests are held all across the country, let alone in kerala, and this time to make sure it doesn`t just fade away; influential personalities from Malayalam film fraternity are in the upfront, expressing their shock and condolence to the family of the departed.

Actor Mammooty and son Dulquer have strongly protested against the incident through their social media pages, joined by actors like Manju warrior, Unni mikundan, Rima kallingkal and Asahique Abu who are just a few to mention. Actor Jayaram took it further by visiting the family of Jisha and what followed was an emotional breakdown, as the actor couldn`t control his tears seeing Jisha`s mother in pain. Actor Unni mukundan adheres to, castration as the perfect punishment for such crimes. A widely shared post by the actors expressing their concern that the incident happened in kerala was that which says, the distance from Delhi to Kerala is much larger than, that between our homes and Perumbavur, where the incident occurred, stressing the urgency of the situation.
