Mammootty's next is a thriller - More details here

As per the latest update, Megastar Mammootty will be teaming up with veteran cinematographer Shamdat for his directorial debut. Shamdat has worked in movies such as Kamal Haasan's Viswaroopam 2, Uttama Villain, Oozham and upcoming movie Role Models.

Touted to be a crime thriller, the upcoming film will have Mammootty as an investigative police officer. The movie will be a tale of many characters, featuring Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan fame Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Lijo Mol in pivotal roles. To be shot in Kochi, Chennai and Pollachi, the movie will start rolling on March 24th.
