In a shocking news, a 20-year-old youngster has been arrested for drugging, sexually harassing a teen girl and releasing a recorded video of the same in WhatsApp. The incident has happened in a place near to Panrutti- Veeraperumanallur.

The criminal is identified as Sathish who was engaged in cotton business. He was in a relationship with a 14-year-old girl. One day he had asked the girl to come to the school premises where he drugged her and sexually assaulted her in the restroom. In addition to this, he had also recorded the incident and shared it via WhatsApp.

The video became surfacing widely in social media following which the shocked parents filed a complaint with District Child Welfare Committee Chairman Jayanthi Ravichandran. After this, Sathish has been arrested and also booked under the POCSO Act.
