Man kisses cop, police book him under IPC

We reported on Monday that this Bonalu season has seen a strange incident take place in Hyderabad. A reveller almost molested a cop on a busy road during a procession. The man, identified as a resident of Malkajgiri in Andhra Pradesh, was drunk when he stopped the cop who was passing by, grabbed him, hugged him and planted a forcible kiss. The cop lost his cool and slapped him when he was pushed around. A video of the incident went viral on social media in no time.
The news is that a case has been filed against the offender. The cop in question is reportedly the Sub-Inspector of Nallakunta.
The accused has been booked under IPC 353 (Obstruction of public servant from doing duty). He has been detained.
