'Prasthanam' Teaser: Deva Katta revs up the scale

Prasthanam Teaser: Deva Katta revs up the scale

The 2010 Telugu hit 'Prasthanam' is currently being remade in Hindi. Starring Sanjay Dutt in the lead, it has been produced by Maanyata Dutt.

Director Deva Katta seems to have retained the flavour of the original while enlarging its scale. The proceedings smell of Bollywoodish melodrama and larger-than-life incidents in a family. A political party is named Jana Kalyan Party and it seems like a casual reference to Jana Sena and Pawan Kalyan at one go.

Also starring Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Ali Fazal, Satyajeet Dubey and Amyra Dastur, the emotional drama releases on September 20.
