Mani Ratnam's fans get ready for treat

The official casting details for Mani Ratnam's next directorial venture has been revealed. A multi-starrer, it features Arvind Swamy, Silambarasan (better known as Simbu in the Telugu States), Vijay Sethupathi, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh and Fahad Fazil in key roles.

Bankrolled by Mani's Madras Talkies production house, AR Rahman will score the music for the film, while Santosh Sivan will be the lensman for a Mani film for one more time. The editing department will be handled by Sreekar Prasad.

The shooting for the mega picture is scheduled to begin by January next year. This film was at one point of time billed to have Nani, Vijay Devarakonda, and even Ram Charan.
