Vijay-Ajith actress joins Maniratnam's 'Kaatru Veliyidai'

Director Maniratnam is currently shooting his romantic thriller Kaatru Veliydai` in exotic locations in and around Ooty in the Niligiri Hills. The film has Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari as the lead pair with Shraddha Srinath, Delhi Ganesh and R.J. Balaji in the cast.

Now an addition has been made to the cast of Kaatru Veliyidai` in the form of K.P.A.C Lalitha the evergreen mother of Malayalam cinema who is said to be playing a Muslim woman. The veteran actress made her Tamil debut in Vijay`s Kadhalukku Mariyadai` and has also done the role of Ajith`s grandmother inKreedam`.
