On Friday, Mollywood's lady superstar Manju Warrier celebrated her 43rd birthday. On the special day, the actress announced her new movie which she describes as the "first-ever commercial film" to be released simultaneously in Malayalam and Arabic. The film is titled 'Ayisha' and will be helmed by debutant Aamir Pallikal. who has assisted filmmaker Zakariya in the popular films Sudani From Nigeria and Halal Love Story. Penned by Aashif Kakkodi, Ayisha will be produced by Zakariya. M Jayachandran will be the composer of the film.
Sharing the first look poster of the movie, Manju Warrier wrote: "Looking forward to this exciting journey with Aamir, Zakariya and the entire supercool team! Stay tuned in for more updates." Take a look at the poster.
According to the director, the film will feature Arabic actors and will be launched later this year. To be shot in the Middle East and partly in other countries, the movie will have Manju playing the title character. Along with Malayalam and Arabic, the makers also plan to release it in English and other Indian languages.
