Actor Vemal has filed a complaint with the Nadigar Sangam to take action against producer Murugan in whose 'Jannal Oram' he acted a few years back.  According to Vemal, Murugan was in financial trouble during the production of the film and had asked him to help out which he did by borrowing 25 Lakhs from Anbu Chezhiyan and 65 Lakhs from Lakshmi Movie Makers.

However Murugan allegedly did not return the money which has put Vemal in soup rendering him unable to concentrate on his career.  It is learnt that Murugan is producing the Arvind Swamy - Amala Paul starrer 'Bhaskar Oru Rascal' under his wife's name.  Vemal has requested Nadigar Sangam to intervene and get the money he has stood surety for before the release of the film which is slated for 12th January 2018.
