Thalapathy Vijay starrer 'Leo' released last Thursday amidst huge expectations and received a thunderous response from fans. However the gangster flick directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj has also received mixed reviews from the critics.

On the business side 'Leo' continues to do well at the box office. Trade sources are predicting that following the first day collections of Rs. 148 crores worldwide the consecutive holidays will ensure that the magical rupees five hundred crores mark will be breached soon.

Several celebrities including Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth have already seen 'Leo' and congratulated the cast and crew. Now intense filmmaker Mari Selvaraj has expressed his opinion on social media after watching.

Mari wrote "Glad to have watched Director Lokesh bro and Vijay sir reunite on screens again!! Leo Das was Badass indeed!! Congratulations to the whole team!!". The praise from this unexpected quarter has given a big boost to Thalapathy fans.

'Leo' has music by Anirudh and is produced by Seven Screen Studios. The ensemble cast comprises of Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mathew Thomas, Sandy, Madonna Sebastian and Priya Anand.
