Married CRPF jawan marries lover and remarries wife simultaneously

Picture of a CRPF jawan from Chattisgarh’s Jashpur district getting married to his lover and his wife on the same stage simultaneously is being circulated on social media.
Anil Pakra, a native of Jashpur, although being married to a woman for four years, apparently fell in love with an Anganwadi worker and decided to marry her as well. A CRPF spokesperson, however, has said that the marriage went against the Conduct rules for government staff. “The rules bar him for marrying for a second time while his wife is still there. This applies to all government employees irrespective of caste, religion or sex. He cannot have two wives simultaneously as the service rules prohibit multiple spouses. He might land in a problem,” he stated.
The sarpanch of the village reportedly said that he was not aware of the man’s plans and that the bizarre marriage had left all the villagers baffled. The CRPF jawan has claimed that the reason for his second marriage was that his first wife was unable to bear a child. The locals, however, stated that the man was in love with the Anganwadi worker as they noticed him spend more time with the Anganwadi worker than he did with his wife.
