Marudhu
'Marudhu' shot in and around director Muthiah's home town Rajapalayam of Virudhu Naga district in Tamil Nadu, stars Vishal and Sridivya in lead roles. Soori has acted as the hero's friend and his role will have scope for comedy as well as emotional scenes. RK Suresh of 'Tharai Thappattai' fame has acted as the lead villain. Veteran actor Radharavi who was at loggerheads with Vishal in the Nadigar Sangam Elections has acted in an important role in the film.
Going by the trailers we could expect a pucca rural action treat. Vishal apparently plays a local coolie and a valorous guy taking on the baddies single-handedly. The makers have also point that the film will have equal importance for family sentiment in the form of Vishal's relationship with his grand mother in the film. Muthiah has proved his prowess in handling action and sentiments in his previous films and we can expect the same kind of entertainment in this film also.
Velraj has handled the cinematography of the film and the color tone he has used to shoot the film makes us feel the heat of a small town of South Tamil Nadu. D.Imman has done the musical score. Praveen K.L.has Edited the film.
