'Lanka', starring yesteryear actress Raasi in lead role, is touted to be an uncanny thriller. The film's first teaser was today released by director Maruthi. Directed by Srimuni and produced by Namana Dinesh and Namana Vishnu Kumar on Rolling Rocks Entertainments, it is presented by Namanam Sankara Rao and Sundari.

“We have made the film on high technical values. Raasi and entire team have done a terrific job. The teaser is intense and features all important characters," the makers say.

The makers are counting on Raasi, who they say has given a spine-chilling performance. "This will go down as her career-best performance. She is the perfect choice for the script," the makers say about the actress who was recently seen in 'Kalyana Vaibhogame'.

Ina Saaha and Sai Ronak have played other important roles. The entire production and post-production works are completed. While the trailer and audio will be out this March, the film will hit the screens some time in April.
