MCU's Captain Marvel though not a high-grossing movie, managed to entertain the fans. The actress Brie Larson who played the role of Captain Marvel gained a huge fan base after the release of this movie. While the fans are waiting for the next movie Brie has given a blunt response when a question was shot at her about her next film in MCU

In an interview at the D23 Expo, she was asked how long she would be playing the role after the film and she replied, “I don't know. Does anyone want me to do it again? I really don't know. I don't have the answer to that.” So it is now unknown whether Captain Marvel will have a future in MCU.

Brie made her MCU debut as Captain Marvel in the 2019 movie Captain Marvel. Though a section of fans disliked her performance, many came in support of her and defended her. Many fans complained that her portrayal of Carol Danvers was not faithful to the comics and reviewed it to be blunt.

The upcoming MCU movie The Marvels, which is due for release and is directed by Nia DaCosta, brings together Brie’s Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani’s Ms Marvel, as well as Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau. The film will hit the cinemas on July 28, 2023.
