This is why sex comedies are a risky genre to try on. People criticize it yet secretly want to see it. This is the reason that last week’s release 'Kya Kool Hain Hum 3' has still been ruling the box office. But let us tell you that whether whatever genre, every movie should have that kind of substance, story and characters, that compliment it in every way. 'Mastizaade', for us, has nothing in it and I would be so so wrong if I even call it a movie. Here is why....

Vir Das as Aditya Chothia and Tusshar Kapoor as Sunny Kele play two sex addicts who make perverted ad films and struggle hard to pick up women to fulfill their sexual desires. The two now fall in love with Laila and Lily Lele, the twin sisters who help the two to get over their addiction. Laila is modern girl while Lily is a geek who has a stammering issue. The rest of the story involves around the two Sunnys trying to make their respective man sober and all the crap that it sounds like.

The only good thing about the film is Sunny’s confidence with her body to pull of a role so bold. She is practically not wearing anything in a few scenes, but no other actress could have pulled of a role like this with ease. That’s it for all the good things. Rest all is mere nonsense in the flick. So much so that it is offensive hugely to gays, women and every practical human being on this planet. The jokes too are neither funny nor sensible at all. The humor is just embarrassing and would make any respectable person walk off the theatres.

Tusshar Kapoor is too confident in his role (all the experience in the genre is working) and Vir Das, well, I hate him for doing such a movie. He is a talent that needs to be explored but not this way. Inspite of having decent actors, 'Mastizaade' has no plot, no screenplay and the crappiest of direction I have seen in recent times.

It is totally your decision to invest your money in this nonsensical film or not, but be prepared to get disgusted, embarrassed and offended after coming out.
