Hollywood actor Jonathan Majors has been spared jail and one-year counseling after he was found guilty of domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. It's only probation for the great talent in acting, aged 34. Judge Michael Gaffey, who deemed Majors a first-time offender without any criminal record from the past, issued him a conditional discharge and, in that way, saved him from going to jail.
A Los Angeles judge ordered the counseling program, warning that the singer would be in violation of probation and would consequently land in jail. The judge asked him to enroll in a 1-year program that provides mental health therapy for batterers.
In fact, the judge also issued a permanent protection order through which Jonathan Majors will not be allowed to call Jabbari; failure to do that, in fact, would result in an imprisonment order. In a "victim impact statement," Jabbari expressed his grave concern: "He will do this again." He will hurt another woman. This is a man who feels like he's above the law. I had a career, life, and bodyâall of which he's damaged.``
Majors has faced career ramifications post-guilt, notably an exit from Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and removal from other franchises.
