Mumbai-based actress Meenakshi Dixit, who was seen in the title track of 'Dookudu' in 2011, has reportedly played a cameo in 'Maharshi'. She will be seen in a scene alongside Mahesh Babu in a track shot recently in the US.

Meenakshi, known for glamorous roles, was last seen in the Telugu film 'Adivi Kachina Vennela' after playing a special appearance in NTR's 'Baadshah' earlier. She has mostly done Hindi and Tamil since then.

Director Vamshi Paidipally is shooting the movie currently in Hyderabad at Ramoji Film City. Starring Pooja Hegde as the heroine, 'Maharshi' has Allari Naresh in a key role.

Bankrolled by Dil Raju, Prasad V Potluri and Ashwini Dutt, the film will hit the screens on April 5. Its music is by DSP.
