It was director Lingusamy who introduced Malluwood actress Meera Jasmine in Tamil with his movie Run opposite Madhavan.

From then on, Meera has gone on to acquire name and fame here.

After touching a low in his second film Gi, Lingusamy has begun his next directorial venture titled Sandaikozhi starring Chellamae fame Vishal in the lead role.

He was keen on casting a popular actress in the lead role in his movie. Coming to know about this, Meera Jasmine, as a token of gratitude, has accepted to play ladylove to Vishal in Sandaikozhi.

With both the hero and the heroine ready, a happy Lingusamy is all set to commence the shooting of the movie
