Mehreen GalleryIt's not for nothing that Hanu Raghavapudi chooses his heroines. Lavanya Tripathi has gone on to act opposite the likes of Nag and Nani. Mehrene, his KVPG heroine, is currently on a roll - with a film in Hindi and two in Telugu.
Mehrene Kaur Pirzada, who debuted with Nani's Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, is currently acting in Phillauri. This Anushka Sharma-produced film is directed by Anshai Lal. She is co-starring opposite Anushka, Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma in this film.
In Telugu, she has a big-ticket film lined up with Sai Dharam Tej, whose film is directed by BVS Ravi. She is listening to many more scripts down South, may be in Kollywood as well.
Meanwhile, she has bagged a film opposite Allu Sirish. Directed by MVN Reddy (Venu), the film has two more female lead roles, for which actresses are yet to be finalized.
Even before KVPG, this till-recently Canada-based actress with roots in Punjab had got offers from Bollywood.
