Miss Indian cricket before Kohli, Dhoni: Siddharth

Siddharth has piqued a lot of cricket fans by saying that he misses the old-school Indian cricket. In his tweets, the actor opined that the game has become toxic in the age of IPL.

Sid began saying, "You don't realise you are old till you rely on your age to miss things. I miss the days of Indian Cricket before IPL, Dhoni and Kohli." This had a number of fans of MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli lash out at the actor.

The 'Bommarillu' actor then said that the new generation of demi-god worship mixed with administrative and Public Relations power is so not cricket as we grew up worshipping it. "Toxicity reigns," the 'Orey Bammardi' actor added.

He ended his analysis saying, "My favourite cricketer since I was 14 and he 20 was Dravid. Followed him his whole career. First ball to last. I miss you so much Rahul Dravid. Can't wait for you to come back to dignify Indian Cricket again. It's coming."

The actor will next be seen in the Telugu film 'Maha Samudram', starring Sharwanand as the other lead actor. Directed by Ajay Bhupathi, it has Anu Emmanuel and Aditi Rao Hydari as the heroines.
