Missing out on Oopiri: NTR opens up

'Oopiri', a remake of the French drama'The Intouchables', was to be made with Nagarjuna and NTR as the leads. Vamsi Paidipally had narrated the role currently being essayed by Karthi to NTR, who was reported to have given the green signal.

However, the reason for NTR's exit has not been made official.

Finally, NTR, speaking to the press today, opened up on 'Oopiri'. "I really liked the story as soon as I heard it. I was to do it, but the dates didn't work out", he said, suggesting that he would have loved to be part of the multi-starrer.

Had it come through, the Nandamuri-Akkineni combo would have created a sensation.
