And when the news came out that he was sent to the gallows, this mother loses her mental balance. Kuniyamma, never believing in the stories about her son's death, goes far and wide in search of his son.

In this rebellious travel, she sees much of the real life, which brings her back to her days with her loving son. Veteran actress Sukumari is playing the crucial role of Kuniyamma , an old woman in this film 'Mizhikal Saakshy' , around whom the movie revolves. The character of Kuniyamma will be the best among the two thousand odd roles that this veteran character artist had ever been in.
