The fascination for 'Moggina Jade' meaning the plight of Jasmine Budds is about the growing urbanization and outsourcing industry plus focusing the plight of a girl enchanted by old ways of braiding her hair but denied in the name of modernity. At another level the film mirrors a girl child growing up in the present social milieu while her parents are unable to understand her. The child's angst is the focus of the film which is the immediate result of the colonial cyber labour being outsourced by the multinationals.

Instead of Priya enjoying 'Moggina Jade' it is the maid servant Nagarathna who enjoys it. What was supposed to reach young Priya it later reaches the gypsy girl further keeps Priya in question as to why she is not getting 'Moggina Jade'. The dream of Priya is shattered when she does not find the gypsy girl around her house. In her search to gypsy girl Priya goes out of the house and she loses the way. The child's angst is the focus of the film which is the immediate result of the colonial cyber labour. IT/BT have only brought wreckage to family values and family systems.

In this film, the jasmine plait is used as a symbol for the traditional approach while Rekha and Raghu represent the cyber coolies who are bitten by the consumerist pests.

Priya gets 'Moggina Jade' the traditional one for her is after all anxious moments. This film is all set for release soon.
