National acclaim director S.V.Rajendra Singh in a joint venture with A.Mohan as producer has completed this murder mystery film as on date with a few initial hiccups. S.V.Rajendra Singh Babu addressing the media at Karnataka Cricket Association on Wednesday evening remembered 'Jaganmohini' the film produced by his father late Shanker Singh in which his mother Pratima Devi was in the lead role. That was the first silver jubilee film in Kannada produced in 1947 from his home banner 'Mahatma Pictures'. Now Singh Babu is updating the 'Mohini' with latest advancement of sound, lights and camera technique help. Singh Babu's handsome looking son Auditya is playing the lead with top south Indian actress Sada as heroine. Anu Prabhakar, Poonam are also in the lead roles.

There is four minutes graphics, two songs and a few scenes are in the new technology of digital intermediate, there is a five minutes fire fight between Aditya and Riyaz Khan that called for a few lakhs of rupees and took seven days to shoot, the tone of photography is quite different here, the treatment of comedy is based on dialogues and the songs and music by Hamsalekha are impressive – S.V.Rajendra Singh Babu outlined the highlights of the film. A song on Belgaum district and a dhandia style song with Karnataka folk touch are new attempts made by Hamsalekha informed Singh Babu.

The correlation in this film with my father as director has worked out well. It was not such a good chemistry when my father launched me in 'Love' a few years back said Audhitya. He has liked the narration, story and screenplay in the film. R.Giri's camera work is in the Hollywood style patted Audhtia.

Producer Mohan informed that he believed in director SVR Singh Babu and he has given a fine work. This is evident from the rushes I have seen he said. The challenge has been met and we have plans to release the film in the second or third week of April 2006 said Mohan.

Stunt director Thriller Manju and art director Subash Kadkol also appreciated the zeal of the producer and director on this occasion.
