Mrunal Thakur, the darling of "Hi Nanna" fame, doesn't like the feeling of "having arrived." After shining in her Telugu ventures like "Sita Ramam" and "Hi Nanna," she is absolutely confused why Bollywood has not been too kind to her with some really meaty roles even in six years of her career.

In a recent chat, Mrunal muses on the praises for 'Hi Nanna', her frustration with the casting of Bollywood movies, and also on how she receives body-related comments. She is going to take on roles that challenge her, and not less than that.

"I am tired of having to explain Bollywood in order to be cast," she says. I need roles that match the caliber of my previous characters," she says. "I'm okay with doing an array of roles, even if it requires playing a mother or sister."

Her Telugu film experience was a real eye-opener. Accepted as "Telugu ammayi," Mrunal liked enacting progressive characters. She adores filmmakers who have confidence in her to do such roles and is grateful to all of them for giving her this opportunity.
