If you stay in Mumbai and travel by local trains there, chances are that you would be having one 'colorful' experience soon! Courtesy, Sanjay Khanduri!

In a unique promotional strategy and an intense marketing drive, there are speculations that some of the trains at handpicked railway routes may be painted with the promotional material of Abhay Deol-Neha Dhupia starrer EK CHALIS KI LAST LOCAL.

Is that true? "That's right", says debutant director Khanduri, "We are toying with the idea of painting the trains and are currently looking at options while getting the right permissions. Since the film revolves around a missed train and has a local train forming the backdrop of the film, as is obvious through the film's title, we thought that it would be a good idea to use this forum for the promotion of the film."

"Also, since the film is based in Mumbai and the subject would come quite naturally to the Mumbaikars, we are looking at going all out with the buzz and hype in the city", he adds, "There is a certain flavor that the city of Mumbai brings, hence it is imperative that when a subject revolves around a missed local train, we make the audience aware about what they are going to get from the film."

So when does that happen? "The film is coming on April 20th so a few days before that we should be having the permissions in place while the painters do their job. Rest assured, you would be enjoying yourself with one colorful ride the next time you board a local in Mumbai," he signs off!
