Sensational director Mysskin was planning to direct a new movie when Lokesh Kanagaraj approached him to play a negative role in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo'. Since he liked the character very much he postponed his film and signed the project. Major portions involving Mysskin and Sandy were shot in Kodaikanal first and later he shot with Vijay in Kashmir.

A few weeks back Mysskin updated that he had completed his portions for 'Leo' and wrote a letter of thanks to the entire team. Lokesh responded by writing "A million thanks won’t suffice to express how grateful and fortunate I feel to have had the opportunity to work with you in such close capacity. We had an absolute blast having you on sets Sir.I can never thank you enough but a million thanks"

Now news has come out that Mysskin has resumed the preproduction work of his next big project that will have Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. We have already reported about this project much earlier and now it will go on floors from May this year. The producer and other cast and crew details will be announced soon.

Vijay Sethupathi is also playing an important cameo role in Mysskin's upcoming movie 'Pisaasu 2' starring Andrea Jeremaiah and Poorna. His other projects include Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai 1& 2', Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' directed by Atlee, 'Maharaja' directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, 'Gandhi Talks', 'Merry Christmas' and 'Mumbaikkar'.

Mysskin on the other hand is also acting as the chief antagonist in Sivakarthikeyan's next movie 'Maaveeran' directed by Madonne Ashwin of 'Mandela' fame. The film has Aditi Shankar in the female lead and will release in Summer 2023.
