Counting on a popular title that is synonymous to our local Tamilites, director Sarkunam will be touching the comedy segment this time with lead actor Dhanush and actress Nazriya. The film was shot at an amazing stretch and with the dates of all actors falling in the rightful hands, the director was able to wrap up in a good 48 days!

First up, after back to back super hit movies that breeze through various sentiments and comical elements, Sarkunam has promised the audiences an out an out comical story that will rip through the viewers. His Kalavaani was a laugh riot, a story full of light hearted fun a rare breed! And then he came up with a strong movie that had its root deep into the education system in Vaagai Sooda vaa. Now with Naiyaandi we can expect Sarkunam to dazzle with his serene way of storytelling in a lighter way!

Dhanush is a pan Indian actor, his acting has progressed rapidly with his image and the previous flicks speak enough about this star. Variety is one word he banks largely and Naiyaandi comes up with huge scope for comedy and this actor needs no formal training at all. In a rural getup, he has already sizzled in Aadukalam, so make way!

Ah, and here is this beautiful damsel Nazriya! With a quieter role in Neram and more of a fun provoked gal in Raja Rani, what is she up to? She is touted as the next heartthrob of K-Wood's so expect a load of cuteness!

As stated by Sarkunam, the movie will be a complete family entertainer; Dhanush plays the role of Kuthu Vilaku shop owner, so the homework would be deep down from him! Nazriya's name is Vanna Roja who studies Dental! The romance would be breezy filled with teasers!

Ghibran, the usual musician for Sarkunam will be yet again the cap, his single of "Teddy Bear" already has gone down well with its Video Game zap sounds. Five star films have confirmed the release in over 600 prints across TN. The horse race between Vannakam Chennai & Naiyaandi is on!
